Welcome! Hopefully you have found yourself in the right place, but I suspect you have. My name is Jessica and I am a mother of 4 and wife to a wonderful husband of over 11 years. I first became a mom in 2014 and it sparked my interest of all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Since then my intrigue on the large scope of prenatal health and the postpartum period has continued. I want women and their families to know there are more options than the baseline material that is presented to them and to feel empowered to make choices that best serve them. I have been professionally trained as a Birth Doula and also have been certified as a Postpartum Doula through CAPPA. As of recently I have also achieved the title of a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. With plans to further my knowledge in all of these areas, specifically with a focus on the Postpartum Period, as I find this of utmost importance, I hope to be a strong source of support. Conversations centered around all of these areas is a true passion of mine along with making a positive impact and experience for new moms, dads, and babies!

"As Americans, we are under the impression that new moms are ‘Superwoman’ and can return to life as it was before baby. We must remember to celebrate this new mother and emulate the other cultures that honor new mothers by caring for them, supporting them, and placing value on the magnificent transformation she is going through. This is the greatest gift we can give to new mothers and newborns.” - Darla Burns
